See What's Happening in Mrs. Howington's 2nd Grade Class!

Here you will learn about what is going on in our class. The latest news on fieldtrips, testings, and important dates to remember.

You can check out interactive educational links for parents and students. You need internet access to visit those sites.

The next FAIR testing will be in April. Please make sure your child reads daily for 20 minutes. Reading out loud can improve on fluency. Fluency is reading with speed and voice, so the students do not sound like robots.

What's New?

Our next field trip will be to the ZOO in April . The cost will be $10 due by April 11th. We wil see animal habitats and read about them. Bring a sack lunch or order from the cafeteria. There will be lots of learning and lots of fun. If you would like to chaperone, the cost is $10.
